Not far from my worst work, to be honest.

I was looking for good musical subjects at the time. Clearly, I wasn't really able to find some.

I started different projects, most of them inspired by movies (The River Wild by Curtis Hanson, The Professional by Luc Besson, Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg).

I liked these films, but maybe not enough to put them into good music. Except Schindler's List, maybe, but I think I was not wise and mature enough then to be up to this amazing movie.

So I had all these songs, and I knew that I would not finish the albums they were supposed to be part of.

Then I conceived to put them together in a record. A best of unreleased and never-to-be-released tracks, in a way.

I added a few songs inspired by other movies I liked, and then Génération 2 came over.

A word about the title, by the way : there has been a first Génération. It was a best of my first three albums especially made for a friend.

As this one looked like another best of, I went back to that title.

End of a story that tells how much this project lacked of sense.
